Job summary

Litehouse Foods is seeking a QA Technician I to join our Lowell, AR team. You will perform in-process inspections, analytical testing, and product investigations to ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with Production to verify safe, accurate, and consistent manufacturing and support continuous improvement initiatives. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in quality assurance or food manufacturing.
• Experience with HACCP, GMP, SQF and food safety principles is required or strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP, MVI, SharePoint or other QMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process quality inspections and documentation reviews to ensure HACCP, GMP, SQF compliance.
• Conduct analytical testing including titrations and specification verification.
• Manage product holds by creating, tracking, investigating, and releasing materials in ERP and QMS.
• Review production records and MVI data to validate quality and support investigations.
• Complete sanitation verifications and environmental monitoring for food safety compliance.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify quality concerns and support corrective actions.

Shift: [3rd]
Starting pay: $18.77/hr
Additional Pay: 3rd Shift is $3/hr

As a QA Technician I you'll help ensure every product meets Litehouse Foods' high standards for food safety and quality. You'll perform in-process inspections, analytical testing, documentation reviews, and product investigations while partnering closely with Production to verify products are manufactured safely, accurately, and consistently.

What You'll Do

• Perform in-process quality inspections, documentation reviews, and product verification to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, and food safety standards.
• Conduct analytical testing, including formulation titrations, specification verification, and ingredient and finished product evaluations.
• Manage product holds by creating, tracking, investigating, and releasing materials using ERP and quality management systems.
• Review production records, job tickets, and MVI data to validate product quality and support complaint investigations.
• Complete sanitation verifications, environmental monitoring, and routine housekeeping audits to maintain food safety compliance.
• Partner with production teams to identify quality concerns, document findings, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of quality assurance, food manufacturing, laboratory, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, and food safety principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP, MVI, SharePoint, or other quality management systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to accurately document results and collaborate across departments.
