Job summary

Litehouse Foods in Lowell, MI is seeking a Spice Prep I to join our production team. This hands-on role involves accurately weighing and preparing ingredients, following recipes and schedules, and supporting our safety and quality standards on a night shift.

You’ll work with dry and wet ingredients, maintain a clean workspace, and coordinate with shift leads to meet daily goals. Litehouse offers strong benefits and a 100% employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production, especially ingredient prep.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices (GMP, PPE, etc.).
• Dependability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare ingredients with accuracy, following recipes and production schedules.
• Track and handle ingredients using FEFO practices.
• Partner with shift coordinators to align on daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
• Complete in-process quality checks and documentation for consistency and compliance.
• Communicate equipment or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Be flexible with scheduling; overtime and weekend availability may be required.

Shift: [11pm - 7:30am]
Starting Pay: $18.44/hr
Additional Pay: 2nd shift is $1.50/hr, 3rd/D/C Shift is $3/hr

  • Be flexible with scheduling-overtime and weekend availability may be required
    

  What You Bring
