Litehouse Foods is hiring a Sanitation Technician I to uphold cleanliness and food safety in our Lowell, MI facility. You'll clean storage containers, tanks, and production equipment, maintain organization, and document tasks.

This role offers starting pay of $19.06/hr with shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth. You must pass a background check; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Mechanical aptitude to identify issues during equipment cleaning.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems.
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhere to food safety policies and report any safety or quality concerns.
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
