Job summary

Freshline Produce LLC in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure production quality by enforcing GMPs, validating processes, and maintaining documentation. The role involves hands-on QA checks on the production line and collaboration with Operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods in a refrigerated environment.
• Ability to regularly observe and document quality and documentation issues.
• Strong supervisory, communication, training and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, label, date and make a daily inventory list of all WIP products in the coolers.
• Dump WIP’s in the cooler that are not usable and maintain a log of dumped product.
• Production Line Quality Checks including GMP compliance, temperature, and labeling checks.
• Operate metal detectors and investigate false detections.
