OSI Group is seeking a QA Supervisor to oversee activities ensuring safe production of a wide range of products in compliance with company, customer and government requirements. The role involves supervising staff, implementing HACCP programs, and maintaining quality systems in our Chicago-area facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related food manufacturing QA experience preferred.
• Planning, organizing, coordinating and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem solving and decision‑making skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HACCP program including record keeping, logs, trend reporting, and validation testing schedules.
• Maintain and oversee HACCP/FOOD Safety record keeping.
• Conduct annual HACCP validations, reassessments, and initial validations for new products.
• Conduct HACCP and GMP/SSOP training for the HACCP team.
• Interact with USDA inspector on HACCP/SSOP issues and relay follow ups to QA Leader.
• Perform pre-shipment review of CCP documentation.
