Summary

Perform various laboratory testing to ensure the product meets applicable specifications. Maintain related paperwork. Aid in the preparation, implementation, and auditing of food quality and food safety programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct line checks.
• Record data on forms provided.
• Complete sampling of product, packaging, and weights.
• Ensure correct unit orientation.
• Provide support to Production to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Follow label verification and line clearance programs.
• Perform tests on batches to ensure proper mixing according to SOPs.
• Conduct in-house inspections.
• Assist in special projects as assigned.
• Complete reports as required.
• Assist with audit criteria and procedures.
• Maintain dependable attendance.
• Comply with all company policies, including safety initiatives.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred, especially in food sciences, biology, chemistry, or related fields. Quality experience in the food industry or related college study required. Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet use.
