ManpowerGroup is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead the Quality Control team at a high-volume food manufacturing facility. The role requires strong leadership, a rigorous food-safety mindset, and the ability to drive corrective actions to improve quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has HACCP/GMP expertise and solid problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include supervising QC activities, managing non-conformances, and guiding training to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in QC/Food with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, including experience managing direct reports.
• Technical understanding of food safety, including HACCP and GMP operations, with strong knowledge of quality systems.
• Ability to apply basic statistical concepts to problem solving and root cause analysis, and proficiency using spreadsheets.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong organization and time management to manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coordinate Quality Control activities by prioritizing tasks based on production needs.
• Oversee non-conformance management, ensuring issues are identified, quarantined, tracked, and resolved quickly.
• Support production verification by supervising QC technicians reviewing operator reports, charts, and records before release of finished products.
• Lead training and onboarding for QC technicians, identify training needs, and ensure quality requirements are understood and applied.
• Respond to production contingencies through problem-solving and technical decision-making, including recipe adjustments and pH corrections, supporting continuous improvement.
