Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a QC Supervisor to oversee quality control in a food manufacturing/warehouse setting in California. You will supervise QC staff, conduct inspections, ensure sanitation and allergen controls, and drive continuous quality improvements in collaboration with production and other departments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and food safety regulations.
• Experience with HACCP and GMPs and other food safety programs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues quickly.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coach QC staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train QC team members to ensure adherence to quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to verify specifications.
• Oversee sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control procedures within the facility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive corrective actions with internal teams.
• Collaborate with production to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA and other regulatory guidelines.
• Operate scanning and detection equipment to check for foreign materials in products.
• Conduct weight, temperature and packaging inspections for accuracy.
• Participate in internal and external audits and facility readiness for regulatory inspections.
