Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee QA and food safety across production and warehouse operations. You will supervise QA personnel, ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards, and support the production of safe, high-quality products.

The role requires HACCP certification, strong leadership, and the ability to balance documentation, audits, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in food manufacturing QA/QC.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, USDA and FDA.
• HACCP Certification required.
• Experience supervising, training and developing QA/QC staff.
• Experience with food safety documentation, internal audits, traceability and corrective action programs.
• Experience with product holds, nonconformance investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Experience with testing equipment, SPC and digital QA systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA staffing and daily assignments across production and warehouse operations.
• Review food safety and quality documentation, monitor HACCP and Preventive Control programs.
• Manage product holds and assist investigations of nonconforming products, foreign material, environmental monitoring results, and customer complaints.
• Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, mock recalls, traceability exercises, internal audits, testing and calibration programs.
• Provide strong day-to-day leadership to QA/QC employees, conduct training, and maintain an audit-ready facility.
