Job Summary

As the QA Supervisor on 2nd Shift, you will manage quality control activities across production, personnel, and laboratory operations. Your responsibilities include scheduling workloads, partnering with production to resolve quality issues, overseeing product quality surveillance, conducting facility inspections, and monitoring critical plant areas. You will oversee inspections for incoming materials and end-of-run products, coordinate packaging line monitoring, and have 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in food manufacturing.

You will also lead and schedule quality assurance technicians and associates, participate in audits, HACCP evaluations, GMP training, sanitation, pest control, and collaborate with operations on quality and safety issues, including handling customer complaints and implementing new procedures.

Position Responsibilities

• Coordinate QA activities and provide technical support to team members.
• Monitor and verify HACCP CCPs, conduct GMP and sanitation audits.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure control systems are effective and followed.
• Manage product holds, releases, and dispositions; evaluate damaged products; resolve customer complaints; perform product analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field (experience may substitute education).
• 3 years of related experience, preferably in food industry.
• Understanding of Food Safety Guidelines, GMPs, HACCP, and government regulations (FDA, USDA).

Pay Range: $62,000 - $91,000

The listed salary is an estimate; actual salary depends on location, experience, and skills. Conagra complies with applicable minimum salary laws.
