Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the 1st shift at a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Silver Spring area. The role oversees QA teams on the lab and production floor to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

You will coach staff, review lab results, support audits, and work with plant departments to optimize processes and sustain product quality. A dynamic environment requires strong leadership and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable college/technical education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences, or related field.
• Strong analytical and math skills with problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing and knowledge of food industry practices.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel, organize daily activities, communicate expectations for quality, safety, and performance.
• Develop team members through training, coaching, and feedback.
• Partner with Production and other departments to resolve quality concerns and support food safety practices.
