Direct Marketing Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The QAS collaborates with Laser printing, Mailing, and Bindery teams to ensure client specs are met and that all materials ship for production per SOPs.

The role emphasizes verifying machine tickets, postal regulations, print quality, and adherence to SOPs across multiple departments, with opportunities to learn all SOPs and contribute to quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with common office equipment and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Verifies that materials produced by a machine match the machine's job ticket.
• Ensures address blocks and barcodes meet postal regulations.
• Reviews the font size, quality of print, and populated text of Laser department output.
• Reviews the fold measurements and tray tags of Bindery department output.
• Reviews the sealing, postage, and package contents of Mailing department output.
• Notifies the operator and applicable supervisor immediately when any discrepancy is discovered.
• Learns all SOPs for the Quality, Mailing, Laser, and Bindery departments.
