Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, is seeking a QA sorter lead to oversee carcass and carcass part sorting activities and identify any abnormal conditions or defects before carcasses and their parts are presented to online inspectors. This role focuses on supervising QA sorters and assisting with their training.

Qualifications

• Must have basic food safety and quality knowledge.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced meat processing environment.
• Requires HS diploma or GED and completion of specified training.
• Preferred FSIS inspector training and knife handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA sorter department and training activities.
• Supervise day-to-day QA sorter operations and safety.
• Replace duties during absences and ensure quality control.
• Complete required paperwork and support meetings.
