Job summary

Monogram Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Sanitation Supervisor to support QA and Sanitation teams in implementing plant policies and procedures. You will supervise staff, perform daily inspections, review documentation, and ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, QMS, SOPs, GMP, and micro lab procedures.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Food Science or related field, 2-5 years QA experience in food production, PCQI and HACCP certification, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related discipline preferred.
• 2-5 years of QA experience, preferably in food production.
• Strong knowledge of current software and process technology.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent verbal, technical written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be PCQI and HACCP certified.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Document, train, and monitor that employees have applied new training.
• Ensure follow-up of non-conformities.
• Participate in daily plant walk-throughs.
• Review and sign off on daily pre-operation inspection, including belts, tools, and sanitation verification.
• Review daily pallet tickets and file with QA documentation on production lines.
• Review employee paperwork for accuracy.
• Perform regular quality checks on mixing procedures, codes, temperatures, and conduct follow-up with involved employees.
• Coordinate ingredient checks and work with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor damaged ingredients and prepare non-conformance documentation with disposal/rework recommendations.
• Conduct HACCP pre-shipment inspections.
• Assist with customer complaints and initiate corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
