Job summary

Monogram Foods in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Quality Assurance Sanitation Supervisor to support QA and Sanitation teams in implementing plant policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and related standards.

The role oversees personnel, conducts training, performs daily plant walk-throughs, and coordinates with Purchasing to resolve ingredient issues while maintaining sanitation and operational integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related discipline preferred.
• 2-5 Years of QA experience with a preference for food production.
• Strong field knowledge of current software and process technology.
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent verbal, technical written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be PCQI and HACCP Certified.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel assigned to duties relating to quality programs (SQF, HACCP, QMS, SOP, GMP, micro lab).
• Documents, trains, and monitors training implementation.
• Ensure follow-up of non-conformities.
• Participate in daily plant walk-throughs.
• Review and sign off on daily pre-operation inspections and sanitation checks.
• Review daily pallet tickets and file QA documentation.
• Review employee paperwork for errors.
• Perform regular quality checks on mixing procedures, temperatures, and sanitation.
• Coordinate ingredient checks and work with Purchasing on discrepancies.
• Prepare non-conformance documentation and recommend disposal and/or repair.
• Conduct HACCP pre-shipment inspections.
• Assist with customer complaints and initiate corrective actions.
