Job summary

Empirepacking is seeking a Quality Assurance Sanitation Supervisor in the Technical Services department. You will oversee sanitation programs, ensure compliance with safety, GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards, and coordinate with plant management to meet production goals.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to train staff, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement while promoting a culture of quality and accountability on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or 3–5 years of operational management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Safety, SQF, GMP, and HACCP training/certifications.
• Experience budgeting/expense management and understanding of basic financial practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint/Access) for data analysis.
• Experience using continuous improvement tools to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective production, department planning, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with Plant Management to develop goals and objectives.
• Ensure production functions meet safety, quality, and production standards, and track output.
• Supervise personnel, train staff, manage schedules, and provide leadership.
• Maintain cross-functional communication to solve operational issues and drive changes with minimal people impact.
• Ensure team compliance with safety policies and company procedures.
