The Arc of Greater Prince William / INSIGHT, Inc. in Prince William County, VA seeks an experienced Director of Quality Assurance & Risk Management to head agency-wide quality improvement and risk management initiatives.

The role focuses on protecting each individual's rights, dignity, health, safety, personal choice, and community inclusion while ensuring compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Human Services or related field.
• 10+ years of experience working with individuals with IDD.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• 3+ years of residential services experience.
• Experience with investigations, quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory oversight.
• Working knowledge of Virginia DBHDS regulations and residential licensing requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Therap EHR.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience in root cause analyses and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the agency's Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program.
• Develop measurable quality outcomes and collaborate with leadership to improve services.
• Review investigations and incidents to ensure regulatory compliance and rights protection.
• Monitor service quality with person-centered planning and community integration.
• Provide coaching and training to managers and DSPs.
• Oversee ISP processes to support individual goals and choices.
• Coordinate Virginia DBHDS licensing reviews and Plans of Correction.
• Lead agency participation in accreditation surveys (CARF or others) and maintain readiness.
• Lead the Risk Management Program and conduct root cause analyses.
