Job summary

The Brock Group Inc in Richmond, CA is seeking a QA/QC Supervisor to lead site QA/QC activities and oversee inspectors and NDE techs. You will ensure work complies with ASME codes, project specs, client requirements, and the company Quality Management System.

As the primary Quality representative to the client, you will identify quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and public protection across refinery turnarounds and construction

Qualifications

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• Experience interpreting ASME codes and applying QA/QC procedures
• Knowledge of NDE, welding, piping, and code compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site QA/QC activities and QA/QC personnel
• Serve as the primary Quality representative to the Client
• Provide oversight for Quality Inspectors and NDE Technicians
• Ensure inspection activities comply with codes, specifications and client requirements
• Interpret and apply ASME requirements (Sections I, II, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3)
• Maintain weld documentation, weld maps, inspection records, and QA turnover packages
• Coordinate and monitor NDE activities and documentation
• Support refinery turnarounds and fast-paced construction while maintaining Quality requirements
• Mentor inspectors and drive NCR, root cause analysis and corrective actions
