Job summary

Probst Electric Inc., a leading electrical utility contractor and subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality across major projects nationwide. This traveling role supports multiple locations, ensuring compliance with project specs, codes, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years of QA/QC in electrical construction, strong knowledge of transmission or distribution projects, and the ability to read drawings and documents.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years QA/QC in electrical construction
• Experience with high-voltage transmission/distribution projects preferred
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel extensively to remote project sites

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities across electrical construction projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Perform inspections, audits, and quality reviews to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Review project documentation, testing records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Identify quality issues, coordinate corrective actions, and monitor resolutions.
• Manage non-conformance reports and deficiency tracking through resolution.
• Work with project teams to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, inspectors, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding quality requirements.
• Provide QA/QC guidance, training, and support to field personnel.
• Maintain accurate quality records and project quality reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned programs.
• Travel extensively to project sites as required.
