Job summary

Thrive Causemetics, Inc. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control across color cosmetics and skincare lines. The role ensures safety, performance, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with contract manufacturers and testing partners.

Travel for on-site audits is required. You will build and maintain a robust quality system, oversee third-party labs, and drive CAPA initiatives while mentoring cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-focused

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in beauty/personal care.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with cosmetic testing methods (microbiological, stability, compatibility).
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to a DTC beauty brand.
• Create SOPs for product development, manufacturing, and testing.
• Audit contract manufacturers and suppliers for GMP and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee testing of bulk formulations and finished products for safety and efficacy.
• Lead CAPA initiatives and cross-functional training on quality standards.
