Job summary

Elevation Labs is seeking a QA Manager to lead Quality Assurance for cosmetic and personal care products. You will oversee the QA team and Quality Management Systems, ensuring materials, processes, and finished goods meet internal and regulatory standards.

The role partners across functions to resolve quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and align with certification requirements. You will manage audits, CAPA, and documentation, while guiding the organization toward higher quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in a QA/QC Supervisor or Manager role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (cosmetics/personal care preferred).
• 3+ years leading a team of at least three employees.
• ASQ certification(s) are strongly preferred.
• Experience with QA audits, regulatory certifications, controlled documentation, and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QA team, overseeing staffing, training, performance management, scheduling, and accountability.
• Manage Quality Management Systems, change control, document control, calibrations, deviations, and training records in compliance with FDA regulations and cosmetics standards.
• Oversee QA of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, including batch reviews and product releases.
• Lead CAPA processes, investigations, root cause analysis, and resolution of nonconformances and complaints.
• Lead internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, manufacturing directives, specifications, and quality documentation.
