QA/QC Manager Mission Critical - Data Center Construction

Role Overview

This full‑time position requires on‑site presence five days a week and supports and oversees quality assurance and quality control activities on large‑scale construction projects. The QA/QC Manager ensures projects meet established quality standards, safety requirements and regulatory expectations while supporting overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and reviews to verify quality, safety and environmental compliance.
• Review construction drawings and submittals for accuracy, completeness and constructability.
• Support RFI and submittal processes and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Identify, document and help resolve quality issues, non‑conformances and risks.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports, meeting minutes and compliance records.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and project teams to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes.
• Support project reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) related to quality metrics and construction progress.
• Assist in managing project risks related to quality, safety and compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate QA/QC updates with stakeholders.
• Review as‑built documentation and assist in project closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or project coordination (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).
• Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and submittal processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Primarily on‑site role supporting active construction projects.

Preferred Certifications

• OSHA 30
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
