Job summary

Mission Critical Group seeks a QA/QC Lead Inspector to provide strategic leadership and absolute oversight of the facility's quality inspection program. You will manage inspection scheduling, govern final test approvals, and serve as the gatekeeper ensuring modular buildings comply with regulatory guidelines and client contracts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years in heavy multi‑trade fabrication with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading modular PDC construction and coordinating multi‑trade teams.
• Deep understanding of industrial structural drawings and electrical systems layout.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks, shift scheduling and trade bay assignments for the quality inspection team.
• Co-lead FAT inspections with Project Manager; sign final product acceptance and shipping release.
• Audit shop and yard processes to guarantee full compliance with NEC, AWS welding frameworks, and state modular building certification requirements.
• Liaise between the corporate QA/QC Manager and the local General Manager to balance compliance mandates with plant throughput targets.
