Job summary

Prime Data Centers seeks a QA/QC Program Engineer to serve as the quality authority across the full equipment lifecycle from factory floor through energization and turnover to Operations. You will own the verification chain ensuring OFCI equipment is built, tested, documented, tagged, installed, and turned over exactly as specified in approved submittals and drawings.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Commissioning, Construction, GC, and Site Engineering to manage testing,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
7+ years of QA/QC experience in mission critical, data center, industrial, or high-reliability construction environments.
Experience witnessing factory acceptance testing of electrical and mechanical gear.
Working knowledge of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and documentation standards.
Ability to read single-line diagrams, P&IDs, sequences of operation, and submittal packages.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all vendor factory visits through the Factory Witness Test / Factory Acceptance Test tracker.
Audit documentation, drive RCA, and enforce accountability between GC and project teams.
Document OFCI equipment findings and ensure traceability of asset tag data.
Coordinate with Procurement and Engineering to review equipment and test results.
Lead or support QA/QC audits and formal RCLA discussions with Site Engineers.
Participate in pre-energization cleanliness walks and energization events.
