Job summary

The role covers project-specific QA/QC plans across shops and field sites, with hands-on leadership, daily project interface, and real-time quality risk management for active projects in a defined geographic area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with 10 years of experience.
• 8+ years in Quality Control in industrial/construction settings.
• 5+ years in leadership/supervisory QA/QC roles.
• AWS QC-1, CWI or ICC certs preferred.
• Proficient in ASME Section IX and welding qualifications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC project team and mentor inspectors.
• Audits of QA/QC plans, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Apply SPC methods to analyze process data and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Fabrication leadership.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes and customer requirements.
• Prepare reports and present quality metrics to management.
