Job summary

Binsky, a leading mechanical contractor in Central NJ and PA, seeks an experienced QA/QC Inspector – Welding & Fabrication to ensure products and processes meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities include visual and dimensional inspections, welding code compliance, and maintaining quality records. Travel to sites and audits support a strong quality culture across projects.

Qualifications

• Requires current CWI certification (AWS).
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree/technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of fabricated and welded components.
• Verify compliance with codes, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain weld maps and welder qualification logs.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of welded assemblies.
• Review drawings, weld symbols, specifications, and quality docs.
• Inspect materials upon receipt and verify conformance to PO and customer requirements.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and assist in resolving nonconforming materials and products.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and management to address quality concerns.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Promote culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Travel to jobsites and suppliers for inspections.
