Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions in Georgia is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to perform routine inspections, tests, and measurements on materials and finished goods throughout the production process.

You will read engineering drawings, verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, maintain gauge calibration, record results, and identify non-conforming material while supporting QA/QC procedures and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• VT Certification (visual inspection) required; BT Certification (bubble leak) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples and incoming items using standard QA/QC methods.
• Ensure manufacturing adheres to QA/QC standards and QA/QC procedures.
• Review blueprints and BOM specifications to compare with products.
• Record inspection results and summarize re-works and waste in QA databases.
• Maintain calibration of measurement equipment and schedule repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs; use calipers and micrometers for dimension checks.
• Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment.
• Detect defects such as cracks, cold welds, and porosity in joints.
• Collect and analyze statistical quality data for process improvement.
• Audit QA procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.
• Record/report non-conforming material in the appropriate QA system.
