Job summary

You will review blueprints and BOMs, operate calipers/micrometers, and maintain calibration of equipment. Welding knowledge and VT/BT certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• 2–4 years QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding knowledge preferred.
• VT Certification (visual inspection) required and BT Certification (bubble leak) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, tests, and measurements on materials, components, and finished goods throughout production stages.
• Ensure manufacturing adheres to QA/QC standards and procedures; QA/QC compliance.
• Review blueprints and BOM specifications; compare to manufactured products.
• Record inspection results and enter data into QA databases; summarize reworks and wastes.
• Maintain measurement equipment calibration and call for repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs.
• Use gauges (calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions.
• Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment.
• Identify and report non-conforming material; audit QA procedures and processes.
