Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform routine inspections, tests, and measurements on materials, components, and finished goods throughout production. This role supports adherence to QA/QC standards and requires attention to detail and strong documentation practices.

The candidate will review blueprints, BOM specs, and calibration requirements, record results, and help ensure quality across the manufacturing process in Oxnard, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.
• 2–4 years QA/QC in manufacturing environment.
• Welding knowledge preferred.
• VT Certification (visual inspection) required; BT Certification (bubble leak) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples and incoming items using standards, measurements, and functionality checks.
• Ensure manufacturing adheres to QA/QC and compliance requirements.
• Review blueprints and BOM specs to compare with products.
• Record inspection results and summarize re-works and wastes in QA database.
• Update knowledge via training and educational opportunities.
• Maintain calibrated measurement equipment and request repairs as needed.
• Read engineering drawings and radiographs; interpret with gauges like calipers and micrometers.
• Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment.
• Detect flaws such as cracks and undercuts in welds; report non-conforming material.
• Audit QA procedures and manufacturing processes; enter data accurately.
