Job summary

Linxon is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer for Energy and Infrastructure Projects in Raleigh, NC. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on safeguarding the integrity, reliability, and compliance of engineered installations across EPC substation and energy projects.

You will drive quality plans, inspect processes, and mentor project teams to embed best practices. You should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with proven QA experience in construction or energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management or related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and control within construction, engineering, or energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality management systems, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs) for installation phases.
• Coordinate daily inspection activities to meet contractual and quality requirements.
• Intervene to address quality risks with corrective actions and escalation as needed.
• Ensure inspection processes comply with ISO 9001, IEEE, NEC, and ASTM standards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify Linxon standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage non-conformances through resolution with corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on PQPs, ITPs, and related documentation.
• Maintain audit-ready quality records and generate clear quality reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and EPC project quality levels.
• Lead root cause analyses and deliver sustainable corrective actions.
• Deliver training to project teams to foster quality awareness and accountability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects on time and on budget.
