Job summary

Baker Electric is seeking a QA/QC Administrator and Scheduler in Des Moines, IA. This role partners with Project Managers to maintain schedules and QA/QC documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance across projects.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of related experience, proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, and the ability to coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-5 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with Bluebeam software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Project Management software, such as Oracle Primavera P6.
• Support QA/QC processes, including document tracking, reporting, and compliance verification.
• Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Assist with progress tracking, reporting, and schedule analysis.
• Maintain organized records and project documentation.
• Cross-trains with other Project Associates and Project Manager Assistants in order to effectively assist, if necessary.
• Escalate critical and/or sensitive issues to the Division Manager / Executive Team with recommendations for resolution.
• Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.
