Job summary

Morales Professional is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will partner with Operations to support quality, efficiency, and operational excellence on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include managing the QA department, overseeing audits, CAPA, calibration, and PPAP/ISIR compliance while developing proactive quality plans and training programs for sustained performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years managing a manufacturing Quality Assurance department.
• 5+ years in Quality Management and manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; ISO 13485 experience valued.
• Demonstrated experience leading audits and managing a Quality Management System.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints.
• Hands-on leadership on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 QMS; act as Management Representative and oversee audits.
• Oversee manufacturing process flow and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Promote a quality-first culture across the organization.
• Lead Quality department personnel and inspection activities (incoming, in-process, final, first-article).
• Manage CAPA and corrective actions to ensure root-cause resolution and recurrence prevention.
• Develop and implement proactive QA plans, controls, and preventive measures.
• Validate processes through audits, data analysis, and customer complaint investigations.
• Collaborate with Operations on manufacturing methods, process improvements, and training.
• Oversee gage calibration and compliance requirements.
• Manage PPAP, ISIR, certification, and other QA compliance needs.
• Develop high-performance quality systems aligned with manufacturing objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager.
