Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities is seeking a senior Learning & Development professional to lead the QA program and L&D initiatives, shaping curricula and processes to meet business needs across its service territory.

The role partners with subject matter experts, coordinates with locations and vendors, and drives measurement of program effectiveness while supporting performance improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years managing learning programs, curriculum design, and adult learning.
• 2+ years facilitating groups and performance consulting.
• 1+ years project management.
• 2+ years managing a quality program.

Responsibilities

• Develops and recommends strategic approach for business unit learning program(s) and delivers implementation recommendations that support achievement of business goals and strategy.
• Manages the development process from initiation through completion, including scoping, scheduling, defining deliverables, review cycles, milestones and resource tracking.
• Defines and manages maintenance, revision or retirement of curricula using defined L&D processes.
• Leads project teams to develop new curricula or revise existing programs.
• Consults with SMEs and stakeholders on L&D implications and gap analysis between current performance and business goals.
• Coordinate QA program with work locations and vendor partners; perform audits, calibrations and adherence to standards.
• Evaluates feedback and key metrics to measure effectiveness of L&D programs and processes.
• Researches innovation in L&D and benchmarks key metrics within training industry.
• May supervise employees in person to ensure compliance with wage/hour rules and safety.
• May be assigned emergency roles during storms or incidents affecting service.
