Job summary

InfiCare is seeking a QA Lead in Salt Lake City, UT for a contract–long term engagement. You will lead test strategy, design, and execution across banking applications.

You will use Karate/Cypress for automation, perform API testing, participate in CI/CD and Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with development teams to drive quality.

Qualifications

• 5 years of software QA experience with hands-on automation.
• Automation using Karate or Cypress in banking domains.
• Banking domain knowledge and testing of FIS platforms.
• API testing with Postman and REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to define test strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform end-to-end testing across banking applications.
• Validate workflows, interfaces, APIs, and data integrity.
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Execute manual and automated tests; report defects in JIRA.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and prepare test execution reports.

Job Title: QA Lead

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Day 1 Onsite)

Job Type: Contract — Long Term

Experience: 5 years in software quality assurance

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to define comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, and test cases
• Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing across banking applications
• Validate banking workflows, business rules, interfaces, APIs, and data integrity across FIS-enabled applications
• Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
• Execute manual and automated test cases; document results and report defects in JIRA
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives
• Partner with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards
• Support release validation and production issue root cause analysis

Required Skills

• Proven experience in software quality assurance with strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Karate, Cypress
• Banking domain knowledge — core banking, payments, transactions, customer journeys
• FIS platform testing experience
• API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured)
• Experience with CI/CD and Agile environments

Preferred Skills

• WireMock, JMeter, Selenium, Jenkins
• Experience with defect management tools (JIRA)
