Job summary

Siri InfoSolutions Inc. is seeking an experienced QA professional to join our Loan IQ testing team in Cleveland. You will design tests for commercial lending workflows, validate backend data with SQL, and verify API integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability of Loan IQ deployments.

The role requires hands-on testing across SQL, ETL, and API layers, with both manual and automated testing approaches. Collaboration in an Agile environment and exposure to CI/CD pipelines are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA experience in Finastra Loan IQ and related data models.
• Strong SQL skills with data validation and profiling.
• Experience testing RESTful and SOAP APIs and validating responses.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC and bug tracking in Jira/Zephyr.
• Manual and automated regression testing with basic automation exposure.
• Understanding of CI/CD triggers (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:

Domain & Platform:

• Minimum 2 4 years of hands-on QA experience in Finastra Loan IQ
• Core knowledge of the Loan IQ Data Model, tables, and schema
• Strong functional understanding of the commercial loan lifecycle, including syndicated/bilateral loans, drawdowns, fee management, accruals, and repayments

Database Testing:

• Advanced SQL scripting skills (complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, data profiling)
• Backend data validation for CRUD operations and transactional integrity
• Experience working with relational databases like Oracle SQL or MS SQL Server
• ETL testing experience (source-to-target mapping validation)
• Knowledge of database performance optimization or stored procedures.

API Testing:

• Robust hands-on experience in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using Postman or SoapUI
• Validation of API status codes, response payloads, headers, error handling, and authorization tokens
• API test automation using Rest Assured (Java) or Python requests

QA Methodology & Automation:

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle tracking in Jira or Zephyr
• Manual and automated regression testing experience.
• Basic hands-on automation framework knowledge utilizing Java / Selenium WebDriver or Python
• Basic exposure to CI/CD pipeline triggers (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Test Design & Planning: Design, write, and execute detailed test cases mapping to business specifications for commercial lending workflows in Loan IQ
• Database & Integrity Validation: Write and execute complex SQL queries directly against the Loan IQ database to ensure backend ledger entries, balance updates, and operational configurations accurately mirror front-end actions
• API Testing: Validate system integrations, APIs, and microservices powering the Loan IQ platform using manual or automated tools
• Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira, collaborating closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Agile Participation: Actively participate in Sprint Ceremonies (Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Retrospectives) to ensure quality gates are maintained throughout
