Job summary

Richardson International Limited currently seeks a QA Lab Technician at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility. You will test samples for quality and safety, audit production for accuracy, and manage non-conforming products while recording outcomes and retention samples.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s in a food-related field is preferred and experience with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in a food-related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specification compliance.
• Audit production and packaging for accuracy in shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling and coding.
• Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions.
• Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples.
• Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities.
