Job summary

Richardson International in Winchester, VA, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our pasta production facility (Ronzonipasta). You will test samples to ensure quality, safety and specification compliance and help maintain records and retention samples.

This is a nights shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off, offering a competitive compensation package and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor's degree in a food-related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.).
• Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in QA testing.

Responsibilities

• Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specification compliance.
• Audit production and packaging for accuracy in shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling and coding.
• Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions.
• Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples.
• Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities.

Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off
