Job summary

Barcel USA LLC is seeking a QA Laboratory Technician Floater to support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for food products at our Coppell, TX facility. You will perform laboratory testing on raw materials, packaging, in-process products, finished goods, and environmental samples to verify specifications.

The role involves calibration and maintenance of lab equipment, 5S organization, GLP adherence, and collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Quality teams to address

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Food Science or equivalent coursework and work experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and Windows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere through professional communication and feedback.
• Comfortable on production floor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule including weekend availability; supports 1st/2nd/3rd shifts.
• Perform sampling and analysis of ingredients and packaging materials.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and reporting monthly or as needed.
• Supervise production processes and verify quality records.
• Inspect and release non-conforming products per protocols.
• Maintain 5S, clean lab workspace, and accurate records.
