Job summary

Seaway Plastics Engineering in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a quality assurance inspector to support in-process and final inspections on the production floor.

You will create inspection records, perform first-piece checks, and ensure documentation meets QMS standards. This role requires at least one year of QA/inspection experience in manufacturing and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1 year of QA or inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices.
• Basic computer skills for QA software and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Create inspection record templates and pull samples per production schedule.
• Provide quality support during job start-ups and perform 1st piece inspection and approval.
• Perform in-process sample inspections per inspection plans and record results.
• Manage all part samples on the production floor; pull, create, store.
• Document non-conforming products via NCRs per QMS procedures.
• Provide support to production operators with product quality questions.
• Ensure QA documentation is complete and accurate at all times.
