Job summary

Specialty Coating Systems in Wisconsin seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to verify received and shipped parts against customer specs and internal procedures. You will participate in NCMR approvals and support root-cause analysis with Quality and Engineering teams.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, basic math, and proficiency with MS Office tools. Work may involve a clean room environment, packing duties, shipping documentation, and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and drawings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Inspects incoming products against customer specifications and internal processes.
Inspects outgoing products against customer specifications and internal processes.
Completes and approves NCMRs for incoming/outgoing customer products.
Assists Quality/Engineering with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Understands and meets MSP quality requirements.
Performs in-process and final inspection for masking/de-masking and thickness.
May operate precision measuring instruments and record results.
Maintains clean room environment and workspace; adheres to safety policies.
May assist in packing, shipment preparation, and related documentation.
