Job summary

Seaway Plastics is seeking a Floor QA Inspector to support production with first piece and in-process inspections, NCR handling, and proper documentation. You will ensure raw material certifications are present and align with QMS procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and strong attention to detail in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year in QA/inspection, familiarity with GD&T and inspection tools, and experience with ISO

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Quality Assurance or inspection role in a manufacturing environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and complete duties.
• Experience with QMS systems including ISO9001/ISO13485/AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Create inspection record templates and pull samples per production schedule.
• Provide quality support during job start-ups and perform 1st piece inspections.
• Perform in-process sample inspections and record results.
• Manage part samples on the production floor and return to storage.
• Document non-conforming products via NCRs per QMS procedures.
• Ensure QA floor documentation accuracy throughout production.
• Support customer-specified SPC as required.
• Assist with floor/secondary final inspections when needed.
