Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America seeks a QA Supervisor to lead quality assurance and laboratory teams, ensuring DFA products meet the highest food safety and quality standards. You will provide direction, coach staff, and collaborate with the quality manager to foster a strong culture of food safety.

You will develop and maintain programs, review records, support audits (SQF, Kosher, Halal, Organic), and drive continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in food science or related field; equivalent experience.
• Certifications: PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner preferred.
• Experience in QA, manufacturing, or related field in food/beverage.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality programs.
• Review quality records and documentation (CCP, PC, etc.).
• Write and review QA procedures.
• Lead PEM and swabbing programs with operations.
• Provide training on food safety, quality, and compliance.
• Support audits and certifications (SQF, Kosher, Halal, Organic).
