This role is posted on behalf of the following client: A fast-growing game technology studio building high-fidelity AAA sports and simulation experiences in Unreal Engine 5. The team is focused on delivering polished, performance-driven gameplay at scale, with an engineering-first culture and modern development practices.

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer focused on automation, this role owns the integrity of core systems—internal tools and player-facing features alike—ensuring performance, stability, and polish. This is a hands-on position embedded within engineering, partnering closely with developers, production, and stakeholders to ship reliable, high-performance gameplay systems.

What You\'ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across gameplay systems, backend services, and internal tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows; catch critical issues early in CI rather than late in production.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear, actionable reports while collaborating with engineers and designers to define test strategy early.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in software test automation with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and industry standards (e.g., ISTQB).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills; familiarity with TypeScript/Python, SQL/relational databases, and game development or Unreal Engine workflows is a plus.
