Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Engineer/SDET for a remote contract role supporting government clients. The focus is on CI/CD-integrated automated testing, AI-driven test-script generation, and security/compliance validation across cloud-native Java services.

You will diagnose root causes, collaborate with developers within Agile teams, and verify environments from Dev to Ops, including AWS/OpenShift ecosystems. US citizenship with Public Trust clearance required; W2 basis.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation at scale in CI/CD environments.
• Proficiency with Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, REST and contract testing.
• Hands-on with containerized apps on Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Perform software testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security domains.
• Develop test plans and automate scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead AI-driven test-script generation and maintenance using modern AI tooling.
• Debug issues, analyze failures, and determine root causes.
• Execute feature testing for cloud-native Java services on ECS/EKS/OpenShift.
• Validate environments across Dev, Test, and Ops and manage lab setups.
• Integrate security and compliance testing (SAST/DAST) and policy checks.
• Collaborate with developers within Agile teams and support ATO evidence generation.
