Job summary

Image Sensing Systems seeks an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to work in product support and field specialization. You will split time between the testing lab and outdoor field work, installing hardware, validating embedded platforms, and maintaining test artifacts in Azure DevOps.

You’ll collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure reliability of legacy C++ desktop software and field-ready deployments, with a strong emphasis on documentation and process.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and testing embedded hardware in lab/field settings.
• Willingness to work outdoors and handle field maintenance tasks.
• Experience testing hardware/embedded devices alongside manual software regression workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous test documentation in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Field Installation & Maintenance: Lead outdoor installation and configuration of hardware under real-world conditions.
• Embedded & Hardware Validation: Perform hands-on hardware-in-the-loop testing and validate firmware updates.
• Test Lifecycle Organization: Create and maintain structured test cases and bugs in Azure Test Plans for full traceability.
• Legacy Software Preservation: Execute manual regression testing on core legacy C++ desktop software.
• Cross-Functional Technical Support: Serve as the bridge between field data, hardware issues, and development teams.
