Job summary

The Motorist Services Analyst I at FLHSMV ensures accurate issuance of driver licenses and vehicle credentials through quality assurance, monitoring and compliance activities statewide. You will work to strengthen partnerships with Tax Collectors and other agencies, while identifying weaknesses and recommending improvements.

Qualifications

• Skill in using FDLIS/ORION and/or FRVIS to verify driver license and motor vehicle data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Ability to apply rules, regulations, policies and procedures for program compliance.
• Ability to conduct research, evaluate data and develop recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Identify weaknesses in credential issuance processes and propose improvements.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of driver license and motor vehicle credentials.
• Support partnerships with Tax Collectors and other government/private organizations.
• Assist with compliance, quality assurance and project-oriented tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
