Job summary

impact.com is seeking a QA Chapter Lead who will set the quality bar across IO and AI groups, coaching engineers to own testing end-to-end and building tooling to automate quality at scale.

You will lead a cross-functional quality engineering chapter, drive upstream quality, and partner with engineering leaders to embed robust testing across both deterministic platform software and non-deterministic AI products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Software Development.
• SDET background with strong test automation and platform development.
• Proven track record of owning quality across teams or departments.
• Leadership through influence: setting standards without a central QA queue.
• Experience with AI testing and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Set the quality bar and the operating model across IO and AI groups.
• Lead the chapter and build a cross-group community of practice for quality engineering.
• Coach engineers to own testing, using standards, reviews, and reusable patterns.
• Raise the floor on onboarding, patterns, and reusable harnesses for reliable testing.
• Provide mentorship and feedback to grow quality capability in engineering teams.
• Influence and collaborate with Engineering Leads and Product Managers to move quality left.
• Communicate quality posture and risks to stakeholders with data-driven go/no-go decisions.
