Job summary

Knox is hiring for a QA/test engineer to design and build automated test suites for critical application flows. You will use Terraform to construct simulated environments and test code every sprint, logging bugs and gaps.

Participate in release go/no-go decisions and report progress weekly while helping reduce coverage gaps across teams. Applicants should have 5+ years in QA, strong web/API test automation (TypeScript), and hands-on DevOps with Terraform, containers, Kubernetes, and GitHub

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA or test engineering, including building an automation suite from scratch.
• Strong web and API test automation in TypeScript or a similar language.
• Hands-on DevOps: infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Working knowledge of AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Experience using AI tools in software development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests for critical application flows.
• Use Terraform to build simulated test environments.
• Test application code every sprint and log bugs and gaps.
• Take part in the go/no-go call for each release.
• Track weekly progress and flag risks early.
• Help engineers plan tests and close coverage gaps.
