Job summary

Claroty is seeking aSenior QA Automation Engineer for its Public Sector team to ensure cyber-physical security solutions meet reliability, performance, and security standards in federal environments.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests using modern frameworks and integrate them into GitLab CI/Jenkins pipelines, covering frontend UI and backend services across Linux/Windows environments, with FedRAMP/NIST compliance in mind.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required due to federal handling
• Remote within the United States (EST preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of QA and automation experience
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation scripts
• Proven API testing experience (manual and automated)
• Hands-on UI testing experience
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate QA workstreams
• Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux) proficiency and CLI skills
• Version control with Git/GitLab; CI/CD integration (GitLab CI/Jenkins)
• Web testing using Playwright and BE tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests tailored for cloud-native environments
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to validate builds
• Conduct full end-to-end testing across frontend and backend in mixed OS environments
• Ensure releases meet FedRAMP/NIST compliance standards
• Execute regression and smoke tests to support continuous deployment
• Maintain test documentation including plans, cases, and defect reports
• Protect critical infrastructure across government and public sector domains
