Job summary

VDart, Inc. is seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer to design and execute automated test strategies across React UI and Java APIs hosted on AWS. The role focuses on building robust UI frameworks with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress and automating API tests for microservices, while integrating tests into GitHub Actions.

The candidate will validate complex workflows, support UAT, and ensure high-quality release candidate validation in a fast-paced, court/financial-adjacent environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in software QA with 6+ years focused on test automation.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, preferably using Java or TypeScript.
• Strong API testing experience and understanding of REST, JSON, and HTTP.
• SQL skills for data validation on Amazon RDS; familiarity with MongoDB queries.
• Experience running tests in GitHub Actions and testing applications hosted on AWS.
• Test management and defect tracking with Jira; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain UI automation frameworks for React-based screens.
• Automate API tests for Java microservices and integrations.
• Integrate automated suites into GitHub Actions pipelines with clear reporting on pass/fail and coverage.
• Test critical areas including access control, payments, scheduling, search, and document generation.
• Validate AI-assisted features for accuracy and guardrail behavior with the AI Architect.
• Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing; support UAT with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) for React-based screens.
• Automate API tests (REST Assured or Postman/Newman) for Java microservices and integrations.
• Integrate automated suites into GitHub Actions pipelines with clear reporting on pass/fail and coverage.
• Test critical areas: role-based access and sealing, fee/payment calculations, scheduling conflicts, search results, and document generation.
• Validate AI-assisted features for accuracy, grounding, and guardrail behavior alongside the AI Architect.
• Perform regression, integration, and exploratory testing; support UAT with court stakeholders. Required Qualifications
